A group of Charlotte, North Carolina local music aficionados has gathered bands from across the region for an evening of celebration and hope on behalf of the survivors of the Southeast Asian tsunami disaster. The event, to be held at the Neighborhood Theatre in the North Davidson district (NoDa), and sponsored in part by radio stations 107.9FM The Link and Gaston College’s 91.7FM WSGE, will offer some of the best music talent Charlotte has to offer. Patrons will experience many local, regional and award-winning acts including:

10:50 - 11:20 Sea of Cortez (9-piece indie rock Orchestra - 2004 show w/Pyramid & The Houston Brothers chosen as one of the best live shows 2004/John Schacht- Creative Loafing) - MS

11:30 - 12:00 - The Talk (Creative Loafing Best Alternative Band - another MoRisen Recording Artist making the cover of the CMJ Alert during the 2004 Music Marathon in NY City) OS

All ticket, silent auction and raffle proceeds will be directed to World Vision, an international aid organization that has played an integral part in the recovery and relief efforts since the disaster struck. The show time is 5:00 pm and the minimum donation for this incredible evening of talent is $15.

Come gather as our community rallies in support of the victims and survivors in Southeast Asia.
